We really enjoyed our stay and had a perfect three days overall. Booked a dormitory room with a sea view. - the hotel's location was unbeatable, right on the beach, close to restaurants, the jungle, and the ocean in the front.

The hotel was a decent base for enjoying a nice enough area, next to the nature and "El Almejal" beach. the location was beautiful - a few steps away from everywhere I wanted to go. - El Mirador was right next to the property. - Got the same clean room with a sea view booked online, really enjoyed that. - In general, the staff were exceptionally nice and super friendly.

I got great value for my money at Pelican House! The room was clean and comfortable, with amazing views of the jungle and ocean. The location was perfect, right by the beach and close to local shops for buying fresh produce. The staff were so friendly and helpful, organizing tours and providing a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. A small paradise in Chocó!
Breakfast delights could be better with more variety.

the hostel is located in a stunning setting, with the jungle at the back and the beautiful Playa el Almejal in front. the owners, Dani and Emanuel, have created a little paradise here. the rooms are clean and comfortable, and you can fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle. the shared kitchen is a great feature, and we enjoyed cooking with the fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden. the atmosphere is fantastic, and it feels like being part of a big family. Dani and Emanuel are incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. There are also plenty of activities to do in the area, such as whale watching, waterfall visits, and jungle walks. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!
Nothing 😊.

The location was off-the-charts amazing, just steps away from the beach where we caught sick waves all day long. The hostel had a laid-back vibe that was perfect for our group of friends. The staff hooked us up with awesome tours to explore the nearby jungle and go on adrenaline-pumping adventures. Can't forget to mention the wicked common area where we met cool travelers from all over. Best vacay ever!
Okay, if I had to nitpick, I wish the hostel had more late-night party options for us young night owls. Don't get me wrong, we had a blast during the day, but a fun party scene at night would have taken our stay to the next level.
